- We have listened to all of your comments throughout the years, and have created something awesome. The new “Capitol View” hostel/inn is a completely renovated building, suited specifically for tourists/travelers/young professionals and the likes for when they visit DC. It provides more than just “the view”, - quite frankly everything that you would desire. Made by travelers, for travelers, - we’ve got it perfect this time.
- Read the FAQ/About us page if you have questions! Also go on facebook and check us out, you could even chat up other people already on there, and ask more questions there!
- We are currently working on preparing both of the locations for the upcoming busy summer months, to ensure the maximum enjoyment for any parties visiting us. Let us know if you notice any improvements needed anywhere, and we will actually listen to you. After all we are rated the highest because we try to cater to you folks - so let it be known as to what would make it even better.

DC Lofty is the perfect place for you to plan your stay with. We have everything necessary, to accommodate travelers, working professionals, and interns in Washington DC. We boast two locations. DC Lofty – Convention Center is only 4 blocks from the Convention Center green/yellow metro stop, 2 blocks from the only 24-hour food store, bars and restaurants. Capitol View is located a mere 3 ½ blocks away from the bustling Chinatown red/green/yellow metro stop. It is also just 2 blocks away from brand new restaurants, shopping malls, clothing stores, bars, and much more. Both locations have been planned with your trip in mind. Located in downtown DC, they’re surrounded by all of the things a visitor would need, and are already equipped with everything one would desire after a long day outside. VISIT THE SITES
Sites like The White House, and The Mall are both just 1 mile away from either location. Buses and the major transportation system in DC, the metro, are located just 3 blocks from the Capitol View hostel/inn, and 4 blocks from the Convention Center hostel. We will be happy to suggest the multiple free museums that you should definitely visit. Oh, and the National Zoo is a must! It is located on the redline, and is very easy and convenient to access through Convention Center Metro stop.
